There are a number of great golf events coming up for members of DeBordieu Club, the private, oceanfront club located on the South Carolina coast between Charleston and Myrtle Beach featuring a Pete Dye Golf Course, Tennis Center, and fine dining overlooking the Atlantic.

Open to all amateur DeBordieu Membership Holders & Member Dependents!!!
Format: 36 Hole Better Ball of Partners (Men's & Ladies' Gross and Net Divisions). 
Handicap Allowance: Men 90%, Women 95%
Entry Fee: $50.00 Per Player plus golfing fees.
Tee Assignment: Ladies' Net and Gross division will play the Red tee.
Men's Gross division will play from the Green tee.
Men's Net division will play the Green or the Gold tee.
(Men playing the Gold tee will lose 3 strokes from their Gold tee handicap).
Tee Times: Friday 1:00 p.m. & Saturday 9:30 Shotguns Starts
Pairings: Choose your own partner; the golf shop will make the pairings based on team handicaps. 
On day 2 pairings will be based on the leaders in each division.
Prizes: Trophies will be awarded to 1st place in each division at the Winter Banquet.
Ties: Ties for 1st place in each division will be played off on the golf course.
Saturday :  Following play, we will score the event and enjoy hors d'oeuvres behind clubhouse

2012 Blue Heron Men's Member-Guest
Thursday thru Saturday, May 17-19 Co-Chairmen Tate Bowers & Sean Phelan are planning a spectacular event for you to enjoy. The tournament is Thursday through Saturday, May 17-19. The format is two-man teams with flights of six teams. Teams play better ball match play off the low ball in each match. You can win a maximum of three points and lose a maximum of three. Your total after all five matches determines the flight winner. The flight winners then play an alternate shot playoff on 18 to determine the overall champion. Each flight also has an optional sweeps contest that pays out after each nine. One of the most popular aspects of the event is the Thursday evening skills event under the Oaks. This evening includes a team Par 3 Tournament, an individual Putting Contest, and a Closest to the Pin Shootout. Tournament Packets can be picked up in the golfshop, downloaded of the DeBordieu website (upcoming events)  or can be email to you from the Professional staff.Call the Golf Shop for more infor 843-527-6000 or email sroper@pga.com. Deadline for signing up is Sunday, April 15!!!! Get'em in!
