Thrills and Chills on Christmas Day at DeBordieu! Taking a chilly dip in the ocean is becoming quite the Christmas Day tradition at DeBordieu, the private oceanfront community just south of Pawleys Island, SC.
Every Christmas Day, at 1:00, the
DeBordieu Polar Bear Club meets at the beach access on the south end of DeBordieu, and all together, run into the ocean. Among these crazy people pictured here are the
McClary family, Abigail Luquire, Tommy and Thomas Roland, Dr. John Manning and sons, the Cameransi family, Derrick Close and his kids, the Tiller family, John Henry Whitmire, Pete Peterson and Joe Exum.
